Corvallis Spring Roll

Just down the street from us at the local park each year, there's a kid's bike ride that is a 1K loop and the kids go around as many times as they want for an hour.  It's one of those events that makes us love Corvallis.  They were both pretty excited to participate.

Girls on the run

Did a running race with my sweet kids.  Oscar did the 50 yard dash and Lucia did the 1K.  The races finished at the football field which was a fun place to play.  They don't know anything about football and we'll keep it that way as long as we can.

We are not exactly sure what transpired but Oscar said something to Lucia about his hair being too long and next thing you know, there's silence downstairs and Scott decided to check on them and........

Lucia was more than happy to oblige with a pair of scissors.  They thought it was pretty funny.  It actually was.  So Oscar got a summer cut to get it all evened out.  Now he looks all grown up.
