It's hard to describe the Oregon Country Fair. It is a festival and celebration of diversity. Thousands of people come from all over. Some of them are dressed. There are people walking around on stilts dressed up. There's music, dancing, and great food. There are some serious characters. We love it! Here's some characters and Lucia watching an awesome belly dancing show.
Lucia is very serious about her babies. She wears them, she rocks them, she puts them down for a nap, she talks to them. She's a good little momma. She is also very sure about what she needs to take with her when we go out. It usually involves this purple bag (which is actually an insulated lunch bag) and it holds a favorite dress or two and a baby doll. Sometimes other items, depending....
We went camping in the van with good friends. It was really fun and we did a really nice hike up to a waterfall. Lucia and Agoesh hiked some too and sat by the campfire. Sweet times.
Oscar is six months old here. He is precious. Of course, with his luck, he had to have an eczema flare on his half birthday but, as you can see, he is still happy and smiling. He is sitting up now for endless amounts of time, swinging and banging toys, giggling, and always loving on his sister (his favorite person, we think). He is so precious. When I hold him (which is a lot), he makes me melt with joy and peace. We love every part of him.
Lucia likes to wear her Oregon garb year round. She calls this jacket her 'dog jacket, like the one Paige has.' So, on our daily neighborhood walks, she can be seen wearing her rain jacket, sometimes her rain boots and of course, talking her baby (strawberry) for walks. Very cute and sweet. 
Last weekend we went to a tie-dye party for a friends 2nd birthday. It's a yearly event and really fun! Lucia is sporting her new dress and Scott is very proud of his beach towel. It was classic. The garments I did were quick and random. He, however, actually spent time reading the instructions and created an elaborate pattern which apparently is really hard to do with towels.
